In my opinion, our industry does not pay enough attention to the skill of creating and maintaining long-term relationships. A lot has been written about discovery skills and the need to listen. Not enough has been written about how to enhance our clients’ lives. A Financial Advisor’s business is only as strong as his or her weakest relationship. The success of your practice is not predicated on how much you know. How high you climb is in direct proportion to your ability to build and retain your tribe.
